Ever since arriving in Japan in 1979 for tertiary study on a government scholarship, Peter has faced numerous challenges living and working in Japan. After cofounding a Business English school in Tokyo in 1985 and directing sales (in Japanese) for 15 years, Peter subsequently worked as an event project manager, as a senior sales manager for a publisher, and as a designated in-house translator, editor and copywriting consultant for a major US bank. His personal investment experience in Japan, Australia, and the Philippines finally directed him towards a career as a financial adviser from 2007. Since then he has acquired real time hands on expertise in Japanese real estate investment, while continually honing his skills as a financial adviser in tricky economic conditions and building up a network of Japanese real estate, legal, and tax experts. He also helps non-Japanese property owners with the preparation of their Japanese wills.

1979年に政府給費留学生として来日して以来、ピーターは日本での生活や仕事において数々の困難に直面してきた。1985年に東京でビジネス英語スクールを共同設立し、15年間（日本語で）営業を指揮した後、イベント・プロジェクト・マネージャー、出版社のシニア・セールス・マネージャー、大手米系銀行の社内翻訳者、編集者、コピーライティング・コンサルタントを歴任。日本、オーストラリア、フィリピンでの個人的な投資経験から、2007年からはファイナンシャル・アドバイザーとしてのキャリアをスタートさせた。それ以来、日本の不動産投資に関する実践的な専門知識を習得する一方、トリッキーな経済状況の中でファイナンシャル・アドバイザーとしてのスキルを磨き続け、日本の不動産、法律、税務の専門家とのネットワークを構築してきた。また、外国人不動産オーナーの日本の遺言書作成もサポートしている。
