President and Founder, SJCS and SMTJ

ISABELITA WATANABE, Founder

SPEED Japan Consulting Services, Inc. (SJCS)
SPEED Japan Money Transfer K.K.  (SMTJ)

I have lived, studied, worked in Japan for more than half of my life. I have been blessed to choose Japan for my graduate studies. I have built my career, spent my professional life, faced a lot of challenges along the way, in my adopted country, but I have never given up. I continue to try to always share many blessing to those who have not had the chance and opportunities I have been given by the Almighty, and this keeps me going.

I have not forgotten my Philippine roots. I owe my training and discipline not only from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, where I completed my B.S. Business Economics degree, but even from my early years in elementary and high school in my home province of Pampanga. I did graduate studies, though, and training outside of the Philippines – Osaka University of Foreign Studies for my Japanese language training, my MA in Economics from the University of Tsukuba (on full scholarship from the Japanese government and support from the National Economic and Development Authority), and completed an Executive Program for Leaders in Development at Harvard University’s Institute for International Development.

Many challenges came (and still come) my way, being the David amongst the Goliaths, in various businesses I put my sight into. But we always turn out to be finally in the ranks of the Goliaths, slowly but surely.

We never stop putting our sights to new businesses within our fields of knowledge, training and expertise such as:

  1. Consultancy Services in various fields of expertise of very qualified and trustworthy professionals from various countries as a new service of SJCS;
  2. Deployment of nurses based in Japan, to English speaking first-world countries where they can grow and improve not only their professional lives, but personal and financial, as well;
  3. Acceptance of trainees from Indonesia for deployment in Japan. Numbers 2 and 3 are allowed to be done under the current Japan license of SMTJ;
  4. Foreign currency exchange in Japan, under SPEED International Finance (SIF);
  5. Provide safe and healthy food through SJCS’s venture in organic farming at Nature’s Farm in Pampanga, Philippines.
