Dennis Sun has dedicated his life to bridging cultures and empowering communities for Japanese and Filipinos. As the founder, editor-in-chief, and creative art director of Jeepney Press, Dennis has spearheaded a groundbreaking publication that serves as a beacon of knowledge and inspiration for Filipinos in Japan. His journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Visual Communications from the prestigious University of the Philippines, Diliman. Armed with a passion for creativity and a thirst for adventure, he embarked on a decades-long odyssey as a graphic designer, advertising and marketing director and visual artist in Japan. Beyond the pages of Jeepney Press, he works as a coordinator for a Japanese government program through Hellowork, where he plays a vital role in helping not only Filipinos but all foreigners in Japan find stable jobs while providing essential Japanese language education and business training. Additionally in another academy, he serves as a trainer for Japanese language teachers, sharing his teaching expertise and knowledge about handling intercultural groups and empowering others to succeed in their endeavors.
